FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE
Glen 'Big Baby' Davis Sentenced to Three Years in Federal Prison
Boston Celtics Legend Glen 'Big Baby' Davis has been sentenced to just over three years in Federal Prison for allegedly defrauding the NBA's healthcare benefit plan for retired players and families. Big Baby, the most notable of a number of NBA players sentenced under the same indictment, allegedly made an array of medical treatment claims that allegedly did not occur; hence, Davis was charged with Fraud. The prosecution put forward that Davis claimed to have $27,000 worth of dental work in Las Vegas whilst simultaneously being tracked via his cellphone, in Paris. Davis is set to face three years of 'supervised release' following his release from federal prison in the coming years, which likely means Big Baby is about seven years out from any Paul Pierce parties, hopefully PorchTalk is invited to the Big Baby welcome home party. Davis had a role in the Celtics's last playoff run which resulted in a banner, 2008. If Glen 'Big Baby' Davis' greatest crime was scamming (allegedly) the NBA out of $132,000 for fraudulent veneer and liposuction procedures, so be it. If OJ got a pass, Big Baby should get one too.
PorchTalk has no comment for the other NBA schmucks involved in this silly trial.
